もはや誰もWindows上でスマホ向けのアプリを作るのが難しいとか文句を言いもしない。ただそれは存在を無視されるようになったのだ。蜀はまだ存在しているかもしれない。ただ誰も語らなくなった。

Microsoft自体は商売でうまくやっているようだ。

Appleが全く手が出ないクラウドの分野で、元OSメーカーはうまくやっている。Amazonもデバイスでは苦闘が続いてるが、それでもAWSの支配力は圧倒的。不思議なことにGoogleはAmazonにもMicrosoftにも遅れを取っているように見える。

このように会社が強い部分、弱い部分を見るのは実に興味深い。会社の「文化」と何か意味がある関係があるのかないのか。ビジネススクールの人だったら格好な論文の題材だと思うし、すでにそれを試みている人はたくさんいるのだろうけど。

iPhoneが（伸びは止まったと言え）絶好調のAppleだが、自動車の道は平坦ではないようだ。
